Worship Pastor of Thomasville Road Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Fla., Bill Davis, to assume Chair of The Baptist College of Florida Music and Worship Division.

In what is sure to be the beginning of an exciting new era at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville, President Thomas A. Kinchen announced that Bill Davis will become the new Chair of the BCF Music and Worship Division. According to Kinchen, Davis has impacted the lives of thousands of individuals leading them to a deeper appreciation of Christian Worship.

Davis will be coming to BCF from Thomasville Road Baptist Church in Tallahassee, where he has served as their Worship Pastor for 30 years. He received his Doctor of Worship Studies degree from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies and Master of Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

"I am convinced that in Dr. Bill Davis coming to BCF our Lord has brought the right man at the right time for the right work," stated Kinchen. "He has great talent in music and a passion for the worship of our Savior. We have a unique opportunity to educate and train the next generation of worship leaders and teachers, and I believe that Dr. Davis is the man to lead our program in this venture." Kinchen is excited to welcome Davis and his wife, Diane, to the BCF family.

Davis will join the BCF faculty on July 1, 2010. For more information on The Baptist College of Florida's music program, call 800-328-2660 ext. 460 or visit the website at baptistcollege.edu.
