Preparations have been made for another exciting beginning to the holiday season at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville. The annual Holiday Heritage Festival is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 19 beginning at 2 p.m. in the beautiful Heritage Village on the Graceville campus.

A multitude of enjoyable activities will fill the afternoon and evening, including various musical performances and craft demonstrations. A senior adult choir festival will begin at 3 p.m., followed by a Sacred Harp sing led by Ozark resident Stanley Smith, and performances by BCF carolers, a gospel quartet, and the brass ensemble. Visitors will be able to observe artisans in action, including a soap maker, basket weaver, blacksmith, rope maker, Civil War dog tag maker, flint napping, chair caning, weaving, spinning, cane grinding and syrup making.

Children of all ages will enjoy the carriage rides, electric trains, quilt exhibits and a Civil War re-enactment. Guests will have an opportunity to purchase crafts, baked goods, chili, hot chocolate, and hot cider where the proceeds collected go to the BCF scholarship fund. Everyone is invited to attend this fun and festive event.
