A special "God and Country" observance is planned for the Graceville campus of The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) on Wednesday, October 12, to recognize the men and women of the armed forces. Representatives from each branch of the service will be in attendance and military members, current and former, are encouraged to wear their uniform representing their service branch.

Colonel Kenric Conway will be the special guest speaker in Chapel at 10 a.m. as the entire BCF family joins together to recognize members of our armed forces and to pray for our nation.

Conway has been to the Graceville campus many times and has been a featured speaker in chapel services on several occasions. He currently serves as the senior pastor of the Family of God Baptist Church in Panama City and was elected as a member of the BCF Board of Trustees in January 2011.

Conway has an impressive history of ministry and military service as a Chaplain, Lieutenant Colonel, in the United States Air National Guard, serving as the Wing Chaplain and the Senior Air Guard Chaplain for the state of Tennessee. He was responsible for all religious programs for the Memphis unit servicing 1,405 military, dependents, and civilians. He is a veteran of Operations Just Cause, Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Iraq Freedom, Noble Eagle, and numerous other humanitarian missions.
