Preparations are finalized for another enjoyable event at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville. The annual Holiday Heritage Festival, which kicks off the area holiday season, is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 18, beginning at 12 p.m. in picturesque Heritage Village located on the Graceville campus.

Exciting activities will fill the afternoon and evening to include various musical performances, craft demonstrations and a life size Old Testament Tabernacle replica exhibit. In addition to the ever popular strolling carolers, the BCF Music and Worship Division will be performing at 1:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. combining traditional favorites and contemporary music selections. Visitors will be able to observe artisans in action, including soap carving, ornament making, jewelry designing, candle making, glassworks, pottery, basket weaving, blacksmithing, cane grinding and syrup making.

Children of all ages will enjoy the carriage rides, electric trains, antique cars, and quilt exhibits. Guests will have an opportunity to purchase crafts, baked goods, and box lunches where the proceeds collected go to the BCF scholarship fund. Everyone is invited to attend this fun and festive event.
