The Music and Worship Division of The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville, Fla., is excited to announce a special worship event called "Moving Forward: A Night of Worship" April 28 at 7 p.m. in the R.G. Lee Chapel.

The worship service incorporates a plethora of talent from every academic discipline taught at The Baptist College of Florida. Adjunct Student Ministry and Christian Education Professor Aaron Dickinson will deliver the message during the event encouraging students and the congregation to go beyond the campus boundaries and reach out further into their communities.

The beginning of spring semester marked the inception of a drama class at BCF led by Music Professor Kimberle Moon with 20 students. The night of worship production was primarily the idea of one of her students, Senior Christian Education major John Paul Linton who serves as the Children's Ministry Director at North Florida Baptist Church in Tallahassee. Linton envisioned an all-inclusive service centered around the message found in Philippians 3:7-14, with the focus on the final verse which states, "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

BCF students have been diligently combining their efforts to present a seamless message incorporating three dramas, two of which were written especially for the worship service. The drama class will be joined by other BCF students, staff, alumni and members of the Music and Worship Division to form a mass choir and praise team for the evening.

The event is free of charge and open to the public. For more information about Moving Forward, please call at 800-328-2660 ext. 427 or visit www.baptistcollege.edu.
