The Southeastern Community Blood Center holds second blood drive of the semester on the BCF campus.

The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville hosted the second blood drive of the semester, November 27-28, with a large number of students and staff willing to participate in giving blood for the upcoming holiday season. The Southeastern Community Blood Center (SCBC) bus from Marianna, Fla., was strategically located in the parking lot behind Graceville Hall giving donors the opportunity to give blood throughout the day.

According to Florida Blood Services Representative Tammy Bevis, the total amount of blood donated during the two day event was 36 good units. There were a number of people that participated in the blood drive on campus for the first time; however, most were returning BCF students and staff that make it a priority to give blood whenever the bloodmobile comes.

For more information on upcoming blood drives, contact the Student Services Office at 800-328-2660 ext. 474.
