Lewis Goodman, playing the guitar in the praise band during the first week of chapel, is a freshman at BCF pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Worship Ministry.

At the beginning of each semester, there is an abundance of excitement on The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) campus as new students arrive beginning a new chapter in their lives. Cars once crammed full of treasure are unpacked, dorms come to life, and friendships are established that will last a lifetime.

The new Fall 2012 class gathered for orientation on August 9th to learn more about the policies, procedures and requirements of being a BCF student. The new students were able to worship together in a special chapel service with BCF President Thomas Kinchen, as well as meet with their advisors, become more acquainted with the campus, and register for classes.

Among the flock of new students, William "Lewis" Goodman IV is excited to join the BCF family as he follows the legacy of his Grandpa (William Lewis Goodman II) , Father (William Lewis Goodman III), and two older sisters (Ashley Goodman and Rachel Goodman Lauen).

"I can see the love of God in this school and I truly felt led to come here," stated Goodman who felt a call into the ministry at age 16. Lewis is pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Contemporary Worship Ministry.

Goodman is one of the many students who have come to BCF to prepare for areas of ministry, music, business leadership, Christian counseling, missions, history and social studies, English, and education.
