BCF Graduate Matthew LeHew, Assistant to the Senior Vice President, will be preaching in the R. G. Lee Chapel on Monday, April 30.

As the spring semester draws to a close, students at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) are enthused about the final week of chapel before summer break. Monday, April 30, Matthew LeHew will be preaching in the R. G. Lee Chapel. LeHew is a BCF graduate and currently serves as Assistant to the Senior Vice President and adjunct professor. No stranger to the campus or the Graceville community, LeHew has served as the operational manager for BCF's radio station, WFBU, and as webmaster for the website. After graduating from BCF, LeHew continued his education earning a Master's degree from Florida State University (FSU).

On Tuesday, May 1, the winner of the Presidential Excellence in Preaching Award will be speaking in chapel. This high honor is awarded to a current BCF student who preached before a student gallery and panel of faculty judges and was selected to receive the award and preach in the R. G. Lee Chapel before faculty and peers. BCF President Thomas A. Kinchen and his wife Ruth Ann established the preaching award several years ago to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional preaching skills.

Chapel services are held at 10 a.m. CST and are open to the public. For more information about chapel services, or to access the complete chapel schedule, call 800-328-2660 ext. 446 or visit baptistcollege.edu.
