BCF HOSTS SECOND BLOOD DRIVE OF THE SEMESTER

The Southeastern Community Blood Center holds second blood drive of the semester on the BCF campus.
The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville hosted the second blood drive of the semester on Monday and Tuesday, April 2-3, with an impressive number of students, staff, and community members participating. The Southeastern Community Blood Center (SCBC) bus from Marianna, Fla., was strategically located in the parking lot in front of the BCF Assembly Center giving contributors the opportunity to give blood throughout the day.
According to Florida Blood Services Representative Tammy Bevis, the total amount of blood donated during the two day event was 40 units. There were several people that participated in the blood drive on campus for the first time; however, most were returning BCF students and staff that make it a priority to give blood whenever the bus comes.
