BCF Male Chorale tours in Florida and Alabama.

The Baptist College of Florida's (BCF) Male Chorale began their Spring 2012 Tour on Sunday, March 11th. While on the road, the all-male group put feet, heart, and energy into the registered trademark of "Changing the World Through the Unchanging Word.®" The chorale performed concerts at retirement facilities, the National Aviation Museum, and various churches located in Florida and Alabama. "This was more than just a music tour," exclaimed chorale member and BCF student D.J. Sims. "We were able to serve people where they were and share the love of Christ through our lives, music and service."

An exciting and unusual experience for the chorale on tour was performing at the Seafarer Ministry located in Mobile, Alabama. This ministry brings in seamen from all across the world and provides them with the opportunity to stop and relax on land, which opened a door for the chorale to share the Good News of Christ with them. While they were there, the chorale met seamen from the Philippines, Poland, Japan, and Latvia. "I was amazed at the response of the seamen during the concert," stated Music and Worship Division Chair Bill Davis, Chorale Director. "I looked over and there were grown seamen shedding tears in response to the music."

In addition to the BCF Male Chorale tour, the Jazz Band and Women's Ensemble have been busy performing and representing the college throughout the area. Each group offers a unique way of sharing the gospel and showcasing the musical talent of students attending the college.
