BCF Resident Directors pick up their containers of cookies from BCF First Lady Ruth Ann Kinchen and Ms. Gail Floyd to take back to the dorms. Sampling was authorized.

In the midst of syllabus overload, exams, papers, and classes, a delicious taste of home came to students at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville on Friday, March 9th. In her traditional southern style, hospitality, and charm, BCF First Lady Ruth Ann Kinchen, assisted by Gail Floyd and Jan Cunningham, arrived on campus with containers overflowing with mouthwatering home baked goodies made especially for the students to enjoy. Each semester, Kinchen not only looks forward to the opportunity to greet students during the first week of chapel when her husband, President Kinchen, preaches, but she also faithfully bakes goodies to raise the spirits and fill the stomachs of students away from home. In addition to baking cookies, raising funds for scholarships, and encouraging students, Kinchen has sacrificed hours behind the scenes decorating the campus for special events, sewing curtains and adding her special touch of love to the campus. Kinchen is extremely supportive of her husband and offers tremendous encouragement and inspiration to BCF students as they study and prepare for areas of ministry and service. Countless students pursuing a degree at The Baptist College of Florida are far from home, and the desserts and encouragement from Kinchen brings a sense of family, home and smiles.
