BCF Praise and Worship Team leads new students in worship during orientation.

At the beginning of each semester, there is a look of excitement on the faces of new students at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville as they begin a new chapter in their lives. About 80 new students, including online and distance sites, joined the BCF family for the Spring 2013 semester.

The new Spring 2013 class gathered for orientation on January 17, to learn more about the policies, procedures and requirements of being a BCF student. The new students worshiped together in a special chapel service with a message from BCF Senior Vice President R.C. Hammack, met with their advisors, became more acquainted with the campus, and registered for classes.

Among the incoming new students, Megan Andrews came 15 hours all the way from Maryland to attend The Baptist College of Florida. Andrews is a 2011 graduate of Pinehaven Christian School of Saint Ignatius, Montana. She is studying Christian Counseling and plans to use her degree to minister in juvenile detention centers.

"I came to BCF for a solid biblical foundation," stated Andrews reflecting on why she chose BCF, "You can tell people have Jesus here."

Andrews is one of the many students who came to BCF to prepare for areas of ministry, music, business leadership, Christian counseling, missions, history and social studies, English, aviation and education.
