The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) Men's Golf Team faced stiff competition from the other college teams during a thirty-six-hole Fire Invitational Golf Tournament held at Providence Golf Club near Orlando, Fla., on February 8-9. The tournament was hosted by Southeastern University and won by Warner University. BCF finished in eleventh place with a two-day team score of 712, finishing ahead of the only other non-scholarship-granting school, Clearwater Christian College, which posted a 715 total. Jordan Kennedy led the BCF Eagles with a 175. He was followed closely by teammates Troy Cook at 176, Charles Mallileiu at 177, and Austin Rhodes at 184.

The Eagles plan to compete in three other tournaments this spring before wrapping the season up with a fund-raiser Scramble tournament on Saturday, April 27, at 1:00 p.m. For more information or to sign up for the Scramble, call Rick Freeman at 850-326-7114 (cell) or 850-263-3261, extension 453 (office).
