BCF Christian Counseling majors, Ashley Bates and Grace Collins, honor Mrs. Raley with a bouquet of flowers during her farewell.

After serving at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville for ten years, Cecilia Raley, Assistant Professor of Christian Counseling, has officially retired leaving behind a legacy of love. Raley taught courses in Psychology, Counseling, Mental Disorders, and Family Life Education.

Raley was known throughout the BCF campus as a very graceful, loving, and extremely sweet-spirited professor who always made herself available to students. "Mrs. Raley is a prime example of what we should be as Christian women," reflected Christian Counseling graduate Samantha Fann.

Just before spring break, BCF students, faculty and staff gathered to celebrate Mrs. Raley's ministry and service to the college. During the farewell, several faculty and students spoke words of gratitude and appreciation towards Raley and many eyes were tear-filled as students reflected on the tremendous impact she had on their lives. Mrs. Raley's love for the students and the college will always be remembered and cherished as she moves into the next chapter of her life.
