Mark Whitworth, Member Care Team Leader for the International Mission Board (IMB), is the guest speaker for the BCF Missions Conference scheduled for October 12-14.

Faculty and students at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville are excited about the upcoming Missions Conference to be held October 12-14 featuring Mark Whitworth, Member Care Team Leader for the International Mission Board (IMB). Every year, Missions Conference Coordinator and Chair of the Theology Division Richard Elligson not only invites passionate speakers for the conference, but also arranges for worldwide mission organizations to share their stories and opportunities with the BCF family and conference attendees.

This year, over twenty-five different missions agencies will be in the exhibit area recruiting for upcoming mission projects and providing additional information on their organization. BCF students continue to have record numbers involved in missions during the breaks and throughout the summer, with many of those opportunities discovered during the Annual Missions Conference.

Special IMB guest speaker Mark Whitworth will be speaking in the R. G. Lee Chapel located on the BCF campus beginning at 10:00 a.m. (CST) Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Whitworth will be accompanied by his wife Linda who serves as the Director of Stateside Training for the IMB. They were appointed as missionaries in 1986 and have served multiple terms in Japan before transitioning to the Richmond, VA staff. Mark received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Missouri and a M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Missouri. Mark and Linda are active members of Staples Mill Road Baptist Church.

Make plans now to attend the Annual Missions Conference at The Baptist College of Florida October 12-14 to meet with missionaries from around the world and see where the Lord may be leading you to serve.
