BCF TO HOST CREATION CONFERENCE

On April 26-27, The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville will hold the first on-campus Creation Conference with breakout sessions designed for pastors and youth groups. The conference will examine the science and apologetics with the primary topic being the Biblical account of creation. Leading the conference and speaking both days in chapel will be prominent creationist, scientist, and author Jonathan Sarfati.

Sarfati is a well-known author, speaker, apologist, and scientist for Creation Ministries International in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. As an author, Sarfati has written numerous books including Refuting Evolution (2008), which has more than 400,000 copies in print, and his most recent work The Genesis Account (2015), which serves as an in-depth commentary on the first eleven chapters of Genesis. In addition to books, Sarfati has published countless articles in mainstream scientific journals like Nature, and holds the title as the former New Zealand National Chess Champion. To his credit, Sarfati also helped to establish the Wellington Christian Apologetics Society of New Zealand.

In addition to speaking in the regularly scheduled chapel services at 10:00 a.m. (CST) in the R. G. Lee Chapel on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sarfati will lead a special session for pastors on Tuesday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CST) and one for youth, Homeschoolers, and Christian School groups on Tuesday, April 26, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (CST).
