Recitals throughout the month included Skylar Teel, Lewis Goodman, Hunter Eubanks, and Nikki Keppel.

Throughout the month of April, Students within The Music and Worship Division at The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville presented senior recitals in the R.G. Lee Chapel. The recitals were presented as part of graduation requirements for each individual music degree. Recitals throughout the month included Skylar Teel and Lewis Goodman on April 7, Hunter Eubanks on April 14, and Nikki Keppel on April 18.

The April 7 recital began with a word of prayer, welcome and information from the Music and Worship Division Chair Bill Davis. Davis explained that Goodman would be performing a 15 minute singing repertoire in addition to a recital from a previous semester in order to meet the requirements for the Bachelor in Music Degree. Davis further informed those present that Teel would be presenting a 15 minute singing repertoire, as well as 15 minutes leading worship in partial fulfillment of the Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Worship Ministry Degree.

Following introductions, Goodman made his way onto the stage to present his recital selections. As part of his tenor showcase, Goodman performed “O Rest in The Lord” by Felix Mendelssohn, “Save Me O God” by Eugene Butler, “Deep River” by Mark Hayes, “O Give Thanks” by Robert J. Powell, and “In Summer” from Disney’s Frozen by Kristen Anderson Lopez. Goodman’s final performance left the audience all smiles as his rendition of “In Summer” was well-received.

Immediately following the vocal portion of the recital, Teel opened the worship leadership portion with a word of prayer and thanksgiving. Accompanied by a full worship band, Teel led the audience in praise and worship featuring contemporary selections “At Your Name” by Phil Wickham, “Here for You” and “10,000 Reasons” by Matt Redman, “In Christ Alone,” and concluded in a finale of “Love Come Down” by NorthPoint Worship.

Mueller, “The King of Love My Shepherd is” by Sir Henry Williams Baker, “The Blind Ploughman” by Marguerite Radclyffe-Hall, and closed with “The Men That Drive Me Places” by Ben Rector.
